Lampeter-Strasburg Senior High School issued the following announcement.
With safety in mind, the traffic flow on campus will be altered this summer. The campus map provides an overview of the updates: ● Traffic on Rosier Way will become one way from the stadium field house intersection to the entrance of the L-S High School parking lot. There will still be two-way traffic to enter and exit the main high school parking lot areas.
● Access to Martin Meylin Middle School, the Hans Herr Elementary School gymnasium entrance, and the baseball field parking lot area will require entering campus from either Book Road at Lampeter Elementary School (near the water tower) or from Pioneer Road.
The traffic flow alteration will be marked with updated signage and road markings over the summer. We made this decision after much review and site analysis. Our architectural firm and local police department also engaged in the site safety review to recommend and support the altered traffic pattern.
