Senator Ryan Aument is set to host a "Back to School Night" event aimed at fostering community discussion on the use of smartphones and social media among youth. The event will feature a panel of experts, including educational leaders, healthcare professionals, and online safety advocates. Attendees will have the chance to engage with the panelists during a Q&A session.
The panel includes Nathan Barrett, Superintendent of Hanover Area School District; Lauren Eakin, a parent from Warwick Area School District; Brad Ortenzi from ZOE International; Dr. Christopher Russo, Medical Director for Pediatrics at Wellspan Health; and Sabine Polak & Mileva Repasky from the Phone-Free Schools Movement.
This event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Centerville Middle School in Lancaster, PA. Media coverage is welcomed and appreciated.
