St Peter's Lutheran Church recently issued the following announcement.
DONATIONS NEEDED FOR COLLEGE STUDENT CARE PACKAGES
Our college students have returned to their campuses! They are embarking or continuing on a challenging path. We have requests for 18 students so far! To help them adjust, our youth group will be assembling care packages on October 3rd to send to St. Peter’s college students. The youth would be grateful if you would donate items to be included. Some suggested items are: Microwave popcorn, candy, ramen noodles, post-it notes, highlighters, warm socks, facemasks and gift cards – but feel free to surprise us! The items can be placed in a box outside the office, at the outdoor worship service, or the New Day service labeled “College care packages”.
