CONESTOGA VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT: Community Letter HS Shift to Virtual

Anounce

Conestoga Valley School District issued the following announcement.

Dear CV Community –

With the numbers of positive and probable cases rising within the state, county and District, we, as the Pandemic Team, continue to analyze the data surrounding the cases. We know that we are currently experiencing a rise in cases at the high school.

Due to a number of data points, we will be shifting the High School ONLY from in-person to an online format effective tomorrow, Wednesday, December 9, with a return date to in-person instruction on Monday, December 14.

As the numbers fluctuate throughout the district, we constantly monitor the impact of the virus on our schools.

As such, students should take their devices (computers/iPads) home on a daily basis.

The situation may arise where a particular classroom or building would need to shift from in-person to online instruction with limited notice, so we must be prepared.

We will continue to follow our well-established and well-practiced contact tracing protocol, implement our approved cleaning procedures, and provide quality instruction to all of our students.

During the shift to virtual instruction, and really AT ALL TIMES, the student body (and everyone for that matter) should continue to practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, and wear a mask or face covering where appropriate.

Here at CV, we will continue to do everything possible to keep our students, faculty, and staff as safe as possible.

We need your help as parents, students, community members, friends, and colleagues to make sure we are doing everything in our power outside-of-school to stay safe so we can enjoy all that in-person school provides.

We are all in this together! We are #CVStrong!
