Hometown Heroes 2022 Banner Program

Genbusiness010

Borough of East Petersburg issued the following announcement on Feb. 9.

East Petersburg Borough and the East Petersburg Lions Club are proud to announce the Hometown Heroes Banner Program.  The program serves as a tribute to recognize service men and women from East Petersburg who have served or are currently serving our country in any branch of the military.

The banners are 30” wide by 60” tall.  Each banner will honor a specific East Petersburg Borough man or woman and will include his or her picture, branch of service and era of service.  Each banner will be double sided to honor two service men or women.

Banners will be displayed on the telephone poles around East Petersburg Borough on or about Memorial Day 2022.

We have enough room for 30 double-sided banners for a total of 60 Hometown Heroes.  Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis.    If more than 60 applications are submitted, they will be held for the next banner hanging in approximately 3-4 years.

Deadline to submit application is March 31, 2022 and will only be processed with a fully completed application and a photo.  Submit application along with photo to the borough office, located at:  6040 MAIN STREET, EAST PETERSBURG  OR email application to: jguzejko@eastpetersburgborough.org
