FOIA Request to Manheim Township Non-Uniformed Employee Pension Plan Regarding 2023 Pension Rosters on September 20, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at North Lancaster News have sent a request under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Law for records pertaining to the pension fund of the Manheim Township Non-Uniformed Employee Pension Plan.
Specifically, we have asked for a list of all active and retired employees included in the organization's pension fund for the year of 2023. The requested data fields include last name, first name, middle name, date of birth, employer name, employment start date, employment end date, salary, compensation type, amount, year, process date, last disbursement amount, disbursement frequency and the contribution amount for 2023.
Access to public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities which include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. As a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver as media professionals.
