Notice is hereby given that on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. at the Denver Borough Municipal Building, 501 Main Street, Denver, PA 17517, Borough Council will meet to conduct a hearing and thereafter vote upon proposed amendments to the Denver Borough Zoning ordinance. Members of the public are invited to attend. A full copy of the proposed amendments may be viewed at the Borough offices during normal business hours and is posted on the Borough website.
The proposed amendments will bring the Borough zoning ordinance into conformity with state law allowing the installation of small cell wireless communication facilities, Act 50 of 2021, and will establish a new fee schedule for the processing of small cell facilities in conformity with state law. In addition, the amendments will provide for ground-mounted solar facilities in the Institutional District and will eliminate the off-street parking requirement in portions of the Business District.
