The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Lloyd K. Smucker, Smucker for Congress, refunded $2,800 to Donna Ponessa on June 4, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Smucker for Congress has refunded $28,000 total since Jan. 1.
