On Wednesday, April 30, former Elizabethtown Area Senior High School standout Kristin Geesey’s current college team, the Kutztown Golden Bears, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Seton Hill Griffins.
The game took place at Veterans Park. This was their first matchup against the Griffins this season.
The Golden Bears’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, May 1 at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park against Slippery Rock The Rock.
Rep. Tom Jones, who represents Lancaster and Lebanon counties, has voted against the latest Pennsylvania state budget, citing concerns over increased spending that exceeds the state’s revenues.
Pennsylvania Auditor General Tim DeFoor will be present at an upcoming Coffee and Conversation event hosted by Rep. Tom Jones (R-Lancaster/Lebanon) in Elizabethtown.
These former North Lancaster County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
