Census Bureau: 77.8% of people in York County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 454,605 citizens living in York County in 2021, 77.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 353,736 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 174,139 were male, constituting 49.2%, and 179,597 were female, making up 50.8%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in York County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 79.1%.
